POWYS MAN FOUND GUILTY OF SEXUAL ASSAULT AT CROWN COURT
A POWYS man has been found guilty of sexual assault at his trial this week.
De La Mare, of Cae Dafydd, Meifod, had entered a not guilty plea to sexual assault when he appeared at Welshpool Magistrates’ Court on December 10 last year.
The offence took place in Llanfair Caereinion in 2023.
The case on Monday was adjourned for the preparation of a pre-sentence report and De La Mare is due to be sentenced at Mold Crown Court on December 15.
Mark De La Mare, 63, was convicted of the offence at the conclusion of his trial, which took place at Mold Crown Court, on Monday, November 17.
