June 2020 Pervert walks free from court after exposing himself in Tesco toilets A filthy pervert who exposed himself to a man in the toilets at a Tesco store today walked free from court. Sex offender Mark Cox failed to wash his hands at the supermarket in Old Swan during the coronavirus crisis. But when another customer gave him a look to suggest he should, Cox responded by getting out his penis. Cox later claimed it was a misunderstanding and he had sexual encounters with men in public toilets in the past. The 50-year-old is an ex-carer, who was previously locked up for masturbating in front of an elderly woman with dementia. However, the dad-of-two was today spared jail after a judge said he thought there was a prospect of rehabilitation Cox, of Lister Drive, Stoneycroft, but formerly of Knotty Ash, confessed to police and admitted exposure. He was jailed for five months in 2018 for sexual activity in the presence of a person with a mental disorder by a care worker. That involved creeping into an 82-year-old’s room at a care home in Old Swan that February and masturbating. He was ordered to sign on the Sex Offenders Register for five years and to attend the Horizon sex offender treatment programme.
