BATLEY WOMAN CHARGED IN MAJOR CHILD SEXUAL EXPLOITATION CASE
During a police investigation into non-recent child sexual exploitation (CSE) in West Yorkshire, Maria O'Rouke, aged 42 from Batley, was charged with multiple offences.She was accused of causing the prostitution of a girl under 16, allowing a premises to be used for unlawful sexual intercourse, and controlling prostitution.
The investigation involved 39 men and three women, most from Kirklees, who are charged with offences committed against six girls between 1995 and 2015, primarily at addresses in Dewsbury and Batley.
These individuals are scheduled to appear at Leeds Magistrates' Court.
