June 2023 Man convicted of rape and other sexual offences Following an investigation by Thames Valley Police, a man has been convicted of rape and a number of other sexual offences. Marcus Taylor, aged 43, of Lingfield Close, High Wycombe, was convicted by majority jury of one count each of rape, sexual assault by penetration, and sexual assault following a trial at Amersham Crown Court, which concluded on Monday (19/6). He was found not guilty of non-fatal strangulation. Taylor went to the address of a woman this year in Buckinghamshire. While there, he forced himself upon his victim, raping her and sexually assaulting her. He then left and police were called. Taylor was arrested on the same day. Taylor was charged on 11 March. He will be sentenced at the same court on 10 August.
