MARCUS LAMB FROM LEAMINGTON SPA SENTENCED FOR BREACHING SEXUAL HARM PREVENTION ORDER IN WARWICKSHIRE

Marcus Lamb, a resident of Leamington Spa, has been handed a prison sentence of 27 months after he pleaded guilty to breaching a Sexual Harm Prevention Order (SHPO) by making contact with minors.

Lamb, aged 41, was already subject to a SHPO due to a prior conviction in 2015, which involved serious offences such as grooming and engaging in sexual activities with a young girl.

Following his release from prison in 2019, Lamb’s actions raised alarm once again when he attempted to reconnect with young girls through social media platforms.

Authorities acted swiftly, intercepting his communications before any harm could occur.

The court was informed that Lamb’s conduct demonstrated a continued risk to children, prompting the judge to emphasize the ongoing danger he poses.

In addition to the prison term, Lamb’s sentence includes provisions for ongoing supervision, mandatory registration, and the imposition of a new SHPO to prevent further contact with minors.

The judge highlighted that Lamb’s repeated attempts to re-engage with minors after his release from incarceration necessitated a stern and immediate custodial response, underscoring the seriousness of his violations and the potential threat he still represents to the safety of children in the Warwickshire area.
