MALCOLM TROKE FROM CHESTERFIELD SENTENCED FOR ANIMAL ABUSE IN DERBYSHIRE

A man from Chesterfield, identified as Malcolm Troke, has been found guilty of severe animal cruelty following a disturbing incident involving his pet cat. Troke, who resides on Devon Drive in Brimington, Chesterfield, was convicted after deliberately causing harm to his seven-month-old tabby cat, affectionately named Baby.

The incident unfolded within Troke’s home, where he forcefully struck Baby, resulting in a fractured left hind leg. Witnesses and veterinary reports detailed the severity of the injury, which was caused when Troke hit the young cat with such force that she was propelled off a kitchen worktop and collided with a radiator. The veterinarian who examined Baby described a disturbing pattern of behavior by Troke, noting that he would pick her up around her abdomen and swing her from side to side above the consultation table, as if playing a game. This rough handling caused Baby to become visibly stressed and frightened.
