LOGAN DUFFIN FROM FIFE SEXUALLY ASSAULTS YOUNG GIRLS OVER MULTIPLE YEARS IN FIFE AND LOCHGELLY
Logan Duffin, who appeared before Dunfermline Sheriff Court under the alias Logan Munro, has been accused of committing multiple sexual offenses against young girls over a span of several years in Fife. The court was informed that between December 2014 and December 2017, when the victim was under the age of 11, Duffin engaged in repeated sexual assaults.
During this period, he was aged between 12 and 15 years old.
The allegations detail that Duffin touched the girl on her body, including her breasts and genitals, in a manner that was clearly inappropriate and abusive.
In addition to these charges, Duffin, now aged 19, admitted to sexually assaulting another young girl on various occasions from January 2015 to December 2017.
The second victim was between nine and twelve years old at the time of the offenses.
The court heard that these assaults also involved inappropriate touching of the girls' bodies, including their breasts and genital areas, further highlighting the pattern of abuse.
Sheriff Susan Duff decided to adjourn the sentencing hearing until May 12, allowing time for the preparation of background reports that could influence the final judgment.
The court was informed that Duffin, who resides at Sir James Block Gait in Lochgelly, has no prior criminal convictions.
Despite the serious nature of the allegations, he was released on bail pending the sentencing.
The case underscores the disturbing pattern of sexual misconduct involving a young offender in the Fife area, raising concerns about safeguarding and the protection of vulnerable children in the community.
