LEWIS WALKER FROM LEESWOOD CAUGHT WITH TOP-LEVEL INDECENT IMAGES IN FLINTSHIRE

In a case that has sent shockwaves through the community of Leeswood, Lewis Walker, a 26-year-old resident of Bryn Clyd in Leeswood, appeared before Mold Crown Court to face serious allegations related to the possession of indecent images of children. The proceedings revealed that Walker had admitted to downloading a significant number of illicit materials, which included a total of 112 images and movies classified as Category A, the most severe level of such content.

In addition to these, Walker also confessed to possessing 128 images at Category B and a staggering 894 images at Category C. The offences spanned a period from October 2016 through December 2017, indicating a sustained period of illicit activity. The court was informed that Walker was a young man with no prior criminal record and was employed at the time of the offences, which adds a complex layer to the case given his otherwise clean background.

Judge Huw Rees presided over the hearing and decided to re-bail Walker until the sentencing hearing scheduled for February 5. The judge issued a stern warning, emphasizing that all sentencing options remained on the table, including potential custodial sentences, reflecting the gravity of the crimes committed.
