Hartlepool man Levi Martin jailed for violent assault on woman

A woman was subjected to a brutal assault in Hartlepool when Levi Martin, aged 27, attacked her multiple times, striking her repeatedly before pushing her down the stairs. Police responded to a reported assault at a residence in Hartlepool during the early hours of January 20. After a disagreement, Martin caused significant injuries to the woman, including a large laceration to the back of her head and bruising across her body, by hitting her multiple times and forcibly throwing her down the stairs.
