LEROY MCGUINNESS SENTENCED IN DUNFERMLINE FOR VIOLENT INCIDENT
Leroy McGuinness, a 38-year-old resident of Fod Street, Halbeath, appeared before Dunfermline Sheriff Court where he was sentenced following a violent confrontation with his partner.The incident occurred on July 9 at Carnegie Drive in Dunfermline, during which McGuinness exhibited aggressive behavior by shouting, swearing, engaging in a physical altercation with his partner, and forcibly knocking her mobile phone from her hands, leading to the phone shattering.
The court recognized these actions as criminal and unacceptable.
Sheriff Derek Reekie imposed a sentence of 30 weeks in jail on McGuinness and also issued a two-year non-harassment order to prevent any further incidents involving his partner.
