ANDOVER TEEN JAILED FOR HARASSING EX-GIRLFRIEND AND BREACHING COURT ORDERS
Hampshire Constabulary has reiterated that domestic abuse continues to be a serious issue after an Andover man was sentenced for harassment offences.
Leon Fitzpatrick, aged 19 and homeless, received a prison sentence of 16 months on Friday, August 12, after being convicted of seven crimes, including three violations of a non-molestation order issued in July 2021.
The court was informed that Fitzpatrick had verbally abused his former partner, made threatening calls, and sent numerous messages through anonymous Snapchat accounts.

Following the sentencing, Detective Sergeant Sarah Page from Hampshire Police’s Northern Investigation Team commented: “Fitzpatrick’s actions have understandably caused significant distress to the victim.
Harassment involves ongoing conduct, and it can have severe emotional impacts on those targeted.
Addressing domestic abuse offenders remains a key focus, and we are committed to holding perpetrators accountable.
This case aims to reassure the public that victims are central to our investigations and will receive support.”
