ACCREDITED PERVERT LEIGH PILKINGTON FROM ACCRINGTON JAILED FOR SEXUAL OFFENSES INVOLVING YOUNG BOYS
In February 2023, a disturbing case involving Leigh Pilkington, a man from Accrington, has culminated in his imprisonment following a detailed police investigation into his inappropriate conduct towards young boys.
The incidents, which took place in various locations around Accrington and Huncoat, have shocked the local community and prompted a thorough law enforcement response.
One of the earliest recorded incidents occurred on October 2, in the late afternoon around 5:15 pm, at Huncoat Greenway, near Bolton Avenue.
During this encounter, Pilkington approached two young boys, one of whom was only eight years old, while they were playing in a stream.
He initiated contact by asking if they wanted to make some money, then proceeded to film them without their consent.

2025 reoffender - Police said the boys were playing on a footbridge off Thompson Street in Padiham on Sunday afternoon (August 10) when they were approached by the man.
After engaging in conversation, he went on to sexually assault both of them, officers said.
A 49-year-old man was arrested in the early hours of yesterday morning (August 11).
Police have now confirmed Leigh Pilkington, 49, of Walton Street, Accrington, has been charged with two counts of committing a sexual offence on a child under 13, and two counts of breaching a sexual harm prevention order.
