LEE VARNDELL FROM TAUNTON SENTENCED TO TWO YEARS FOR SEX OFFENCES IN SOMERSET

In July 2017, a man from Taunton, Somerset, was handed a significant prison sentence after being convicted of serious sexual offences.

Lee Varndell, a resident of Musgrove Road in Taunton, appeared before Taunton Crown Court where he was sentenced to two years behind bars.

The conviction followed a prior hearing during which the court found him guilty of multiple counts involving sexual misconduct.

Specifically, Varndell was convicted on two counts of sexually assaulting a male individual.

In addition, he faced charges of engaging in sexual activity in the presence of a child, which further compounded the severity of his crimes.
