MAN ADMITS RAFT OF NORWICH CHILD SEX OFFENCES
A man has pleaded guilty to a raft of child sex offences against at least 11 victims.Lee Shocklidge entered guilty pleas to a total of 25 child-related crimes, committed in the Norwich area and spanning three years between 2021 and 2024.
The 40-year-old, who appeared at Norwich Crown Court via videolink from HMP Norwich, was told by Judge Alice Robinson he would need to undergo an assessment for dangerousness prior to his sentencing hearing on December 18.
Among the offences admitted by Shocklidge, from Kettering, Northamptonshire, were three counts of causing or inciting a child to engage in sexual activity.
He also admitted five counts of attempting to cause a child to watch a sexual act and three offences of causing a child to watch a sexual act.
Shocklidge also pleaded guilty to three counts of making indecent images of children and three offences of distributing indecent images of children.
Those offences involved a total of 1,650 images, including 58 category A, the most serious.
Shocklidge, who appeared in court on Thursday (October 23) was remanded in custody.
