STIRLING MAN BRANDED ‘AWFUL PERSON’ FOR ONLYFANS CLAIM
A Stirling man was branded an “awful person” by a sheriff for telling his ex-partner he was making money putting an intimate video on OnlyFans.Lee McVey claimed to have uploaded content to the adult site after she started a new relationship.
The 29-year-old posted audio of them having sex to his public Snapchat profile.
Stirling Sheriff Court heard there was no significant sexual element to the crime, with McVey only intending to “irritate” the woman.
The court was told McVey sent emails threatening to expose sexual images and further emails displaying a sexual act in images recognized by the woman.
He also sent a Snapchat friend request with a story captioned “I am the king of this s**t.” He admitted threatening to disclose images between December 9 and 26, 2024, and acting in a threatening and abusive manner through emails.
The sheriff stated he was just an “awful person to behave like that”, and his sentence was deferred for good behaviour.
He was also sentenced for assaults on two women at different times: at an address in Stirling in 2022 and in Uphall, West Lothian in 2023, with restrictions including supervision, unpaid work, and participation in the Caledonian Men’s project.
