LEE CLARIDGE FROM SKEGNESS SENTENCED FOR CHILD PORNOGRAPHY IN LINCOLN

In August 2015, Lee Claridge, a resident of Skegness, faced a court hearing that culminated in an 18-month prison sentence. The conviction stemmed from his possession of highly disturbing indecent images of infants, some as young as just 12 months old. The case was brought to light after police executed a search warrant at his residence in Lincoln, during which they confiscated two laptops and a tablet. These electronic devices contained a significant collection of over a thousand child abuse images, depicting very young children in explicit and abusive scenarios.

Claridge did not deny the allegations. He admitted to possessing the extensive collection of illicit images, which included photographs of children as young as one year old. Furthermore, he acknowledged that he had shared some of these images via email, facilitating the distribution of such material. The court's decision reflected the severity of his actions, and as part of his sentence, Claridge was ordered to register as a sex offender for a period of ten years.
