SUSPENDED SENTENCE FOR MAN WITH CHILD ABUSE IMAGES
A man found in possession of hundreds of child indecency images has been sentenced to a 15-month jail term, which was suspended.
Lee Broders, aged 56 and from Broughall near Whitchurch, admitted to six charges in January.
He appeared at Shrewsbury Crown Court on April 30 to receive his sentence.
The allegations, which involved activities from August 2018 through July 2023, included three counts of creating indecent images of children, one count of distributing such images, along with possessing prohibited content and an extreme pornographic image.
In addition to the suspended prison sentence, Broders must now register as a sex offender for the next decade.
