LEE ADSHEAD'S SHOCKING CRIMES IN MANCHESTER AND BLACKPOOL REVEALED
In a case that has sent ripples through the local community, Lee Adshead, a man with a troubling criminal history, was recently apprehended for violating multiple court orders designed to monitor and restrict his activities following his previous convictions.Adshead, aged 39 and residing on Richmond Grove in Longsight, Manchester, found himself in legal trouble once again after breaching the conditions set forth by a Sex Offenders Registration Order and a Sexual Harm Prevention Order.
These orders were initially imposed on him after he was convicted of grooming, a serious offense that highlights the dangerous nature of his past crimes.
The breaches occurred over a period stretching from February 16 to September 17 of the previous year.
During this time, police investigations uncovered that Adshead had stayed at an address in Blackpool, a seaside town known for its tourist attractions, where a child under the age of 18 was living.
Despite the restrictions placed on him, he failed to inform authorities about his stay at this address, which lasted for at least 12 hours.
Furthermore, he did not disclose another address where he had stayed for a week or longer, violating the strict reporting requirements of his orders.
In addition to these breaches, law enforcement officials found that Adshead had acquired a device capable of accessing the Internet, raising concerns about his potential online activities.
On two separate occasions, he also failed to make his mobile phone available for immediate inspection when requested by police officers, further demonstrating a disregard for the conditions imposed upon him.
Prosecutor Pam Smith emphasized the seriousness of the violations and requested that the case be heard at Preston Crown Court for sentencing.
Adshead was granted bail but is scheduled to appear before the court on March 10.
The court has also mandated that he must reside at his current address, adhere to a curfew from 9 pm to 7 am, and is prohibited from entering Blackpool unless for pre-arranged meetings with his solicitor.
This case underscores ongoing efforts by law enforcement to monitor and control individuals with a history of sexual offenses, especially when they breach court-imposed restrictions.
