WOMAN ADMITS TO CHARGES OF SEXUAL MISCONDUCT TOWARDS YOUNG CHILDREN IN THURSO
A 31-year-old woman has admitted three charges of sexual misconduct towards young children in Thurso.
Lauren Jones appeared at Wick Sheriff Court today (Wednesday February 18) and pleaded guilty to sexually assaulting a boy, then aged 15, between January 1 and December 31, 2023.
She pulled down his trousers and underwear, exposing his penis.
Jones also admitted inducing two younger children, a boy and a girl, on separate occasions, to look at her naked image on her mobile phone between November 1, 2023 and August 22, 2024.
The offences were committed in two houses in Thurso.
Jones, of Roads Place, Kirkoswald, Penrith, had her sentence deferred until April 1 for a criminal justice social work report.
She was in the meantime placed on the Sex Offenders Register.
