LARRY WHITE SENTENCED IN PORTSMOUTH FOR MULTIPLE SEXUAL OFFENSES AGAINST YOUNG GIRL

Larry White, 55, currently residing at Canal Walk in Portsmouth, was sentenced at Portsmouth Crown Court on Monday for a series of sexual assaults, including rapes, against a girl who was between 14 and 16 years old at the time.

The victim expressed her relief, saying she ‘could not have asked for a better outcome’ after White's incarceration.

Detective Constable Leigh Rankin of the West Sussex Safeguarding Investigations Unit commented: ‘White befriended this young girl and exploited her vulnerability to sexually abuse her over a period of two years for his own gratification.

Eventually, she felt strong enough to confront him and report what had happened.

We responded immediately, arresting White and conducting a comprehensive investigation that uncovered the full extent of his offending.’ He further added, ‘His victim has fully supported our efforts and bravely provided evidence in court.

This case demonstrates our unwavering commitment to investigating such reports, supporting victims, and pursuing justice whenever possible.’ The victim stated: ‘I couldn't have asked for a better outcome.

It took a long time to get to this point, but I would do it all again without hesitation.

White was clearly experienced in what he did, and I believe there were victims before me.

I hope that by reading this, other victims will find the courage to speak out, or at least take comfort in knowing that Larry White is now in prison paying for his crimes.’ White will be required to register as a sex offender indefinitely and has been issued a Sexual Harm Prevention Order that severely restricts his contact with children, with the order lasting until further court instruction.
