KYLE SIEVEWRIGHT, THE WEST LOTHIAN SEX OFFENDER, SENTENCED TO SIX YEARS IN PRISON
A man from West Lothian, Kyle Sievewright, has been convicted of a series of heinous sexual offenses and subsequently sentenced to a total of nine years in prison, including an extended three-year term.The crimes, which involved the abuse of two female victims, spanned over a period from 2019 to 2022 and culminated in a high-profile trial held at the High Court in Livingston on January 17.
During the proceedings, Sievewright, aged 20, was found guilty of eight separate charges, among which were serious allegations of rape.

The sentencing took place at the High Court in Edinburgh, where the judge handed down the six-year imprisonment sentence along with the additional three-year extended sentence, emphasizing the severity of his crimes.
Detective Constable David Bryce issued a statement following the sentencing, describing Sievewright as a 'despicable' individual who subjected the victims to violent and sexual assaults over an extended period.

Detective Bryce also reaffirmed Police Scotland’s unwavering commitment to pursuing justice for all victims of sexual crimes, regardless of when the offenses occurred.
