Denton Child Sexual Abuser
In June 2017, a man from Denton was sentenced to serve time in prison after being convicted of serious sexual offenses involving a young girl. Kyle Lees, born on March 23, 1988, and residing on Acre Street in Denton, was brought before Manchester Crown Court at Minshull Street to face justice for his actions.

Lees received a custodial sentence of five years for his crimes, which included the sexual exploitation of a minor. In addition to his prison term, he was subjected to an indefinite Sexual Harm Prevention Order, a legal measure designed to restrict his future conduct and prevent any further harm to children.

The charges against Lees stemmed from a series of disturbing incidents. He was found guilty of causing or inciting the sexual exploitation of a child, as well as possessing and distributing indecent images of minors. These allegations were established during a previous court hearing, which confirmed his involvement in these heinous acts.

The case dates back to July 2015, when a 14-year-old girl, who was reported missing from her home, was seen walking through the town of Denton. Lees approached her and invited her into his vehicle, an act that raised immediate concern. Instead of returning her safely home, Lees took her back to his residence, where he subjected her to sexual exploitation. During this ordeal, he also took indecent images of her, further compounding the severity of his crimes.

Further investigations revealed that Lees was in possession of additional indecent images of children. These images were not only stored on his devices but were also being distributed online, contributing to the wider circulation of illegal and exploitative material. The evidence collected painted a disturbing picture of Lees’s activities, leading to his conviction and subsequent sentencing.

Lees’s case highlights the ongoing efforts of law enforcement to combat child exploitation and protect vulnerable minors from predators. His imprisonment and the imposition of the Sexual Harm Prevention Order serve as a stark reminder of the serious consequences faced by those who commit such offenses.
