KYLE COUPLAND-SHORT SENTENCED TO NINE YEARS IN LINCOLNSHIRE FOR CONTROL, COERCION, AND SEXUAL OFFENCES
Kyle Coupland-Short, a resident of The Link in Lincolnshire, has been handed a significant prison sentence following a series of serious criminal acts.He was sentenced to nine years behind bars and was also ordered to be placed on the sex offender’s register for life, reflecting the gravity of his offences.
The legal proceedings revealed that Coupland-Short had previously entered a guilty plea in September to multiple charges.
Specifically, he admitted to five counts of controlling and coercive behaviour directed at four women over a period spanning six years, from 2016 to 2022.
These offences involved a pattern of manipulation, intimidation, and psychological control that severely impacted the victims’ well-being.
In addition to these charges, Coupland-Short also pleaded guilty to causing a person to engage in sexual activity without their consent during a hearing at Lincoln Crown Court in September.
This conviction underscores the disturbing nature of his conduct and the serious legal consequences he faced.
The investigation into Coupland-Short’s actions was led by Detective Constable Katie Moore, who publicly praised the bravery of the victims who came forward to report his behaviour.

DC Moore highlighted the profound impact such behaviour has on victims, noting that it affects them physically, mentally, and emotionally.
She reaffirmed the police force’s commitment to taking all reports of coercive and controlling behaviour very seriously.
