KOLAWOLE OLADETOUN: DISTURBING LONDON UNDERGROUND PREDATOR ON THE RUN

In July 2023, authorities in London issued a warning and launched a manhunt for Kolawole Oladetoun, a man accused of committing a series of disturbing sexual offenses on the London Underground and in public spaces across the city.

Oladetoun has been linked to multiple incidents involving indecent exposure and sexual assault, with police describing him as a significant threat to women and girls in the area.

Over a span of nearly a year, Oladetoun allegedly carried out at least six separate acts of sexual misconduct on various train lines and stations within London.

The earliest recorded incident took place on October 18, 2020, around 9:30 pm, when he exposed himself and began masturbating in front of a woman aboard a train traveling through Kentish Town.

This disturbing behavior was followed by another incident on April 14, 2021, at approximately 9:45 pm, when he sat opposite a woman in an empty carriage on the Victoria Line and engaged in similar acts.

The pattern of offending continued into May 2021, with two more incidents reported.

On May 15, around 8 pm, Oladetoun exposed himself and masturbated in front of a woman on a train running from Clapham Junction to Kew Gardens.

Just two weeks later, on May 29 at about 7:30 pm, he deliberately positioned himself in front of a woman traveling to Tonbridge, exposing himself and masturbating.

Despite the woman moving seats to escape his gaze, he persisted in staring at her while continuing his inappropriate behavior.

The following month, on July 1, 2021, at approximately 5:25 pm, Oladetoun sat opposite a woman on a train from Hampton Court, again exposing himself and masturbating while fixating on her.

His disturbing streak culminated in an assault on August 7, 2021, at around 12:10 am, when he approached a woman on the stairs of Hounslow Underground station.

He sexually assaulted her before boarding an eastbound Piccadilly Line train.

The victim reported the incident to British Transport Police (BTP), who responded swiftly.

Less than thirty minutes after the assault, officers intercepted the train at Hammersmith station and arrested Oladetoun.

The police confirmed that he was the suspect in multiple incidents and was wanted for questioning and prosecution.

Detective Sergeant Brittany Armstrong emphasized the danger Oladetoun poses, stating, “Oladetoun is a clear danger to women and girls and we are urgently trying to locate him as soon as possible so he can be returned to court for sentencing.” Authorities have revealed that Oladetoun has connections beyond London, including links to Stafford and Lincolnshire.

He is known to stay in temporary accommodations such as hostels and Airbnb properties, which complicates efforts to locate him.

Police also believe that his appearance may have changed, noting that he could have shorter hair than the image currently being circulated.

Law enforcement has issued a public appeal for information, urging anyone with knowledge of his whereabouts to contact them immediately.

They advise against approaching him directly, emphasizing the importance of calling emergency services if he is seen.

To report information, the public can text 61016 and quote reference 284 of 28/07/23.

For immediate assistance, calling 999 with the same reference number is recommended, or they can contact the non-emergency line at 0800 555 111.
