KHRISTOPHER DAVIE FROM LEICESTER JAILED FOR SEXUAL OFFENSES INVOLVING A 14-YEAR-OLD GIRL
In a case that has shocked the community of Leicester, Khristopher Paul Edward Davie, aged 25, has been sentenced to four years in prison after admitting to serious sexual offenses involving a minor.The court proceedings revealed that Davie engaged in sexual activities with a 14-year-old schoolgirl and behaved in a lewd manner during online interactions via Skype.
Leicester Crown Court was informed that the offenses took place when Davie was approximately between 23 and 24 years old.
The prosecution, led by Robert Underwood, emphasized the criminal nature of Davie’s actions, stating, "He knew it was illegal and didn’t tell anyone because he knew it would get him into trouble.
There was grooming involved, and naked images were exchanged." It was also disclosed that Davie, who did not have a fixed address at the time, had a prior conviction in 2012.
He received a caution for engaging in sexual activity with a different underage schoolgirl, a fact that the court considered significant during sentencing.
Judge Robert Brown addressed the court and highlighted the gravity of Davie’s repeated offenses.
He remarked, “Much of what your advocate has said on your behalf, all of which I’ve listened to with great care, was undermined by the fact, when you were 21, you had sexual intercourse with a girl and received a caution.
Whatever is said about you being immature and preferring the company of youngsters, you knew it was wrong.
It is child abuse and taking advantage of youngsters whom the courts must protect.” The judge further pointed out the disturbing pattern of behavior, noting, “It involved grooming behavior, and there was a significant disparity of ages—10 years.
You’ve learned nothing from that caution because you’ve gone on to offend against another child.” As part of his sentence, Davie was placed under an indefinite sexual harm prevention order, which aims to restrict his future conduct and protect potential victims.
Additionally, he will be required to register as a sex offender for the rest of his life, ensuring ongoing monitoring and community safety measures.
