Cambridge Child Sexual Abuser
A Cambridge man accused of performing disturbing sexual assaults on two young girls has been sentenced to prison. Kester Hale, aged 44, began touching the first girl inappropriately in 2016.
The offences remained unreported until 2022, when another girl reported being similarly assaulted by Hale.
Hale denied the charges during police interviews. However, on November 19, at Peterborough Crown Court, he was convicted and sentenced to six years and six months imprisonment. The court found him guilty of three counts of assaulting a girl under 13 by touching and one count of sexual assault.
Detective Constable Natalie Marriott expressed relief at the outcome, stating: "These were reprehensible sexual abuses against two vulnerable young victims, so I am pleased Hale is behind bars. Protecting children from individuals like Hale is a core priority for us, and we continue to work tirelessly to bring such offenders to justice."
