ABERDEENSHIRE MAN’S SEXUAL ABUSE OF YOUNG CHILD CAPTURED IN SICKENING PHOTOGRAPHS
Kenneth Ross, 61, was convicted after police in London seized images at the home of another paedophile.
Ross – who has previously been convicted of having indecent images of children – was linked to sickening photographs of his abuse of a young child.
These images were found in a 2021 Metropolitan Police raid.
Ross was arrested in May 2025 after the child's mother identified the victim from the images.
The offences took place between 2017 and 2023 across various locations in the north-east.
During police proceedings, it was revealed that Ross repeatedly instructed the child to stand in the corner and would strike them forcefully on the buttocks, with some photographs showing the child crying while undressed.
Ross blamed the child for his behavior during interviews and admitted to having a spanking fetish.
He was convicted of sexually assaulting the child by taking nude photos and hitting them.
The sheriff sentenced him to 27 months in prison, placed him on the sex offenders register for 10 years, and banned contact with the child for life.
