A man who threatened to post a sex video of his ex on the internet has become the first person convicted under new “revenge porn” laws.Kenneth Robinson, 59, sent his former partner unwanted emails after they split up and threatened to upload intimate images.Jedburgh Sheriff Court heard she called the police after the emails were sent to her home in Eyemouth, Berwickshire, between July 2 and July 10.Robinson of Blyth, Northumberland, admitted offences under the Abusive Behaviour and Sexual Harm (Scotland) Act 2016.Sheriff Peter Paterson ordered him to pay £200 compensation and have no contact with his ex for three years.
