KENNETH MCGEECHAN FROM FIFE SENTENCED FOR RAPE IN DUNFERMLINE

Kenneth McGeechan, a young man from Glenrothes, was convicted of a serious sexual offence that took place in Dunfermline, Fife.

The incident occurred on 13 April 2015, when McGeechan subjected a 20-year-old woman to a brutal 40-minute assault in a house used by Fife Council to provide support accommodation for young adults.

According to court reports, McGeechan and the victim were staying together at this residence, which was intended to offer a safe environment for young people in need of support.

During the course of the evening, McGeechan offered the woman alcohol, which appeared to be part of his manipulative tactics.

Subsequently, he sexually assaulted her, despite her protests and pleas for him to stop.

The victim was heard crying and repeatedly telling McGeechan
