WOMAN WHO FILMED HERSELF ASSAULTING HER EX-PARTNER IS JAILED
A woman who recorded herself attacking her former partner and struck another woman with a wine bottle has received a prison sentence.
Kelsey Bainbridge captured footage of the assault on her ex-partner and shared the video on social media platforms.
The accompanying caption ominously warned the man to “prepare for his funeral because he is going in a coffin”.
Throughout the lengthy assault, Bainbridge punched her ex-partner and wounded him using various objects, including an ornament and a picture frame.
As a result, he was taken to hospital with injuries that included a significant wound to his head.
In addition, Bainbridge assaulted a woman who was a former friend, hitting her with a broken Lambrini bottle, which caused swelling and cuts to her head.
On Saturday morning, July 5, Bainbridge was arrested in Spennymoor while in possession of a shovel.
She was detained and questioned by police officers.
Bainbridge, 26 years old and residing in Spennymoor, faced charges and ultimately admitted to attempted wounding with intent, actual wounding, and possessing an offensive weapon.
She appeared before Teesside Crown Court on Thursday, December 11, and was sentenced to two years and six months in prison.
