Chesterfield pensioner sentenced to 20 years for child sexual abuse

A pensioner from Chesterfield who sexually abused two young teenage girls over a period of years has been sentenced to twenty years in prison. The second victim, still a child, expressed feelings of terror and confusion, further stating she felt responsible for allowing the abuse. Bryan's sentence includes 14 years custody plus a six-year extended license for dangerousness, along with a lifetime sexual harm prevention order and registration on the sex offender register.
