MEN CHARGED WITH SERIOUS SEXUAL OFFENCES AGAINST SAME WOMAN
In September, a court case is scheduled to commence involving 13 men as part of a broad investigation led by Greater Manchester Police into alleged sexual offences connected to drug use.Among those accused is a man in his sixties from Stockport, facing charges of conspiring to drug his wife and then engage in sexual acts with her while she was unconscious.
This individual has pleaded guilty to five counts of rape, three counts of sexual assault, six counts of assault by penetration, and a charge related to sharing intimate images or videos.
For the first time, the names of 13 other men, aged between 28 and 73, who are also charged in connection with the same alleged victim, are being publicly disclosed.
In a previous development, Karl Lindsay, born on September 3, 1970, who was the CEO of Taunton Town Football Club, resigned from his role following his arrest in November 2025.
Lindsay denies all allegations, which include conspiracy to rape and conspiracy to administer a substance with the purpose of stupefying or overpowering.
He remains in custody.
