Skegness Offender Kane O'Donnell Sentenced for Series of Violent Crimes

Kane O'Donnell, a 21-year-old resident of Beresford Avenue in Skegness, has been sentenced to 27 months in prison after pleading guilty to multiple violent crimes, including intentional strangulation, two counts of assault causing actual bodily harm (ABH), two counts of assault by beating, and engaging in controlling and coercive behavior within an intimate relationship. The charges involve a series of violent incidents that occurred between January 2025 and March 11, 2025. O'Donnell's sentencing at Lincoln Crown Court on June 20 resulted in a total sentence of 27 months, to be served concurrently. A further charge of making a threat to kill was ordered to lie on file, and an indefinite restraining order was imposed. The victim, who wished to remain anonymous, expressed gratitude towards the police for their efforts and urged other victims to come forward, emphasizing that seeking justice can be life-changing. Police Constable Andy Taylor praised the victim's bravery and reaffirmed the police's commitment to supporting those affected and holding offenders accountable.
