Liverpool Rapist
Kamil Lesiak was part of a brutal gang involved in kidnapping, torturing, and sexually assaulting another man. He was the last member of the group to be incarcerated after forcing the victim to perform degrading sex acts during a ten-hour ordeal. The 27-year-old victim was abducted in Bootle in November 2015 and held against his will at a residence on Simons Croft, Netherton. Lesiak, along with Daniel Misiolek—who received a life sentence with a minimum of nine years in 2016—subjected the victim to physical and sexual abuse. Approximately 90 minutes of the victim's distressing experience were recorded by Misiolek's girlfriend, Awna Baszak, before the gang left the house, allowing the victim to escape. Due to legal restrictions, the victim cannot be identified publicly. The initial attack took place at a home in Bootle shortly after Dagmara Szary, another gang member, reportedly took offense to mobile phone photos she claimed to have seen. Lesiak, aged 25 and of no fixed address, was convicted of false imprisonment, assault causing actual bodily harm, rape, and causing a man to engage in penetrative sexual activity without consent. He was sentenced to 18 years in prison.
