EIGHT-YEAR-OLD GIRL SEXUALLY ASSAULTED AS SHE WALKED TO SCHOOL
An eight-year-old girl was sexually assaulted as she walked to school with her brother in Halbeath.The incident occurred when Kai Groborz approached the girl and touched her private parts over her clothing.
She shouted to her brother, who reported the matter to their headteacher.
Groborz ran off, and the police were contacted.
When police visited Groborz’s home, he was arrested; he admitted that he on January 19 last year sexually assaulted the girl.
Groborz, 18, of Seamark Place, Ballingry, also had been caught with a hoard of indecent images of children and admitted downloading indecent photographs of children between May 23, 2022, and August 22, 2023, at Riccarton, East Kilbride, and elsewhere.
He further admitted on October 12, 2022, to distributing obscene material involving a child and an animal.
Groborz appeared at Kirkcaldy Sheriff Court, pled guilty, and his sentencing is scheduled for November 27.
He has been placed on the sex offenders register.
