FOOTAGE SHOWS THE MOMENT VILE RAPIST ARRESTED AFTER CHEETHAM HILL ATTACK
Greater Manchester Police have released footage capturing the arrest of 39-year-old Jovhan Pascoe from Moss Bank Road, Crumpsall, who received a life sentence for raping a woman.
He was sentenced at Manchester Crown Court on Monday, July 13, with a minimum term of 15 years, and was also placed under a Sexual Harm Prevention Order.
The video shows officers entering a room where Pascoe is seated, then handcuffing him and escorting him to a police vehicle.
Before being secured inside, he undergoes a security scan.
The case was initiated after police responded to reports of a serious sexual assault in Cheetham Hill in September of the previous year.
Pascoe was subsequently arrested, charged, and found guilty of rape.
The victim’s impact statement highlights ongoing trauma, including difficulties sleeping and feelings of fear.
Police commended her courage for coming forward, which contributed to removing a dangerous offender from the community.
