A judge at Minshull Street Crown Court sentenced Joshua Woodhouse, aged 25, to four months of imprisonment after he failed to comply with the conditions of his sex offender registration. Woodhouse, previously convicted of attempting to engage in sexual communication with a minor, was under a suspended sentence last year and required to inform the police whenever he was staying at a different address for more than seven days. It was reported that Woodhouse was staying at a friend's house without notifying authorities, violating the terms of his registration. He admitted to breaching the notification requirements and breaching his suspended sentence, citing that he would stay over at his friend's house whenever he missed the last tram home. The court upheld that Woodhouse had 'nobody to blame but himself' for his imprisonment due to his failure to inform police of his whereabouts. His residence is listed as Middleton Road, Cheetham Hill.
