JORDAN SCOTT-MICHAEL FROM CHESHIRE SENTENCED TO SEVEN AND A HALF YEARS FOR SEXUAL ASSAULT IN LIVERPOOL
A man with a troubling criminal history, Jordan Scott-Michael, has been sentenced to seven and a half years in prison following a serious sexual assault incident that took place in Liverpool.Scott-Michael, who is also known by the alias Jordan Callaghan, was convicted of multiple charges related to his heinous actions against a woman in her 30s.
The incident unfolded after the victim had finished her evening at a McDonald's restaurant located in the heart of Liverpool city centre.
As she was leaving the premises, she was approached and engaged in conversation by Scott-Michael, who then proceeded to follow her.
The encounter quickly escalated from casual talk to a more sinister situation.
According to court records, Scott-Michael, a resident of Halton Lodge Avenue in Runcorn, took the woman to a nearby hotel.
It was there that he committed the acts of rape and sexual assault, acts that have caused significant trauma to the victim.
The court heard that Scott-Michael’s actions were not isolated, as he had previously been subject to a Sexual Harm Prevention Order (SHPO), which he was found to have breached on two separate occasions.
His sentencing was carried out at Liverpool Crown Court, where he admitted to the charges of rape, sexual assault, and the breaches of the SHPO.
The court’s decision reflects the severity of his crimes and the need to protect the public from individuals with a history of sexual offending.
