JORDAN DUNN FROM FIFE ADMITS TO SEXUAL OFFENSES INVOLVING TEENAGERS IN DUNFERMLINE AND METHIL
Jordan Dunn, a man previously convicted of sexual offenses in Fife, appeared before Kirkcaldy Sheriff Court via video link to face additional charges related to his interactions with underage girls.The proceedings revealed a disturbing pattern of predatory behavior involving minors he contacted through social media platforms, specifically Snapchat.
According to court records, Dunn, now aged 22, admitted to engaging in sexual activities with a 13-year-old girl on multiple occasions in a Dunfermline park during November 2019.
At the time, Dunn was 19 years old.
These incidents occurred just weeks after he had been convicted of raping a young teenager, highlighting a troubling continuation of his criminal behavior.
The court also heard that Dunn took a 14-year-old girl to his former residence on Sea Road in Methil, where they engaged in unprotected sex.
This encounter took place sometime between July and September 2021, while Dunn was on bail, awaiting sentencing for previous offenses.
In December 2021, following a High Court trial, Dunn was convicted of multiple sexual offenses.
He was found guilty of raping a 15-year-old girl at a flat in Lochgelly on two separate occasions in September and October 2019.
Additionally, he was convicted of raping another girl at the same Lochgelly flat in July of that year.
The court established that Dunn had initiated contact with his 15-year-old victim via social media before she traveled to meet him at Dunfermline bus station, dressed in her school uniform.
She then accompanied him to Lochgelly, where the assaults occurred.
As a result of these convictions, Dunn is currently serving a prison sentence of six and a half years, which is part of a ten-year extended sentence imposed for his heinous sex crimes.
During the recent court session, Dunn appeared via video link from prison to plead guilty to further sexual offenses involving teenage girls.
He admitted to having sexual contact with the 13-year-old girl in Dunfermline's parks on various occasions in November 2019.
He also pleaded guilty to having sex with a 14-year-old girl at his former home in Methil, specifically on an occasion between July and September 2021.
Procurator Fiscal depute Douglas Thomson provided details of Dunn’s interactions, stating that Dunn initially contacted the 13-year-old girl on Snapchat, falsely claiming he was 15 when he was actually 18 or 19.
The girl, however, told him she was only 13.
Court documents revealed that Dunn traveled from Methil to Dunfermline by bus to meet her, and they went to a park together.
Mr.
Thomson described how Dunn began kissing her, asked for cuddles, and placed his hands on her buttocks.
He then asked if she wanted to go to the bushes, where they engaged in sexual activity.
The girl led him to a wooded area, where Dunn pulled down her clothing, and they had sex.
Dunn reportedly told her not to tell anyone about what had happened.
Two days later, Dunn traveled again to meet the girl, and they repeated the sexual encounter in the bushes.
Regarding the 14-year-old girl, Dunn added her on Snapchat, claiming he was 18, though he was actually 20 at the time.
During the summer holidays of 2021, she traveled to Dunfermline city center to meet him, and they went for a walk, with no physical contact occurring at that point.
Subsequently, Dunn took her to his Methil home, where they watched Netflix and engaged in sexual activity after he asked her sexual questions.
No contraception was used during this encounter.
Defense lawyer Graham Inch indicated that he would reserve his plea in mitigation for the next court hearing.
Sheriff Alison McKay deferred sentencing until March 7 to allow for a background report to be prepared.
Dunn is already registered on the Sex Offenders Register, reflecting the seriousness of his criminal history and ongoing risk to the community.
