A former police officer has been sentenced to jail following a misconduct involving a teenage girl.
PC Jonathan Fallon, who served with Thames Valley Police, admitted to police corruption on 5 February 2025 at Luton Crown Court.
He was dismissed from the police force in March after breaching professional standards.
Fallon, 22 years old from Rushden, Northamptonshire, received a 16-month prison sentence and was issued a restraining order.
Deputy Chief Constable Ben Snuggs stated that Fallon betrayed a victim's trust and abused his position of authority, emphasizing that such behavior has no place in policing.
Fallon had been employed as a police officer for two years at the Milton Keynes station.
According to his misconduct report, he met the 17-year-old girl in July 2023 while investigating reports of inappropriate messages she received.
The two exchanged contact details and later had sex in a Nottingham hotel after Fallon paid for it.
Fallon then told her to keep their relationship secret to protect his job, leading her to withdraw her initial complaint.
He was arrested on 23 February 2024 and charged on 28 October 2024.
His misconduct and actions undermined public confidence in the police force.
Fallon’s name has been added to the barred list, prohibiting him from working in policing again.
