A man with a dark and violent criminal history has been sentenced to life imprisonment after admitting to a series of heinous and sadistic sexual offenses against women and children in Leeds. John Taylor, who was already serving a minimum of 30 years for the abduction and murder of 16-year-old Leanne Tiernan in 2000, faced additional charges that revealed a disturbing pattern of predatory behavior spanning nearly two decades.

On Friday, Leeds Crown Court delivered a stark verdict, declaring that Taylor would spend the remainder of his life behind bars.
