MAN ALLEGEDLY DOWNLOADED CHILD ABUSE PICTURES AND ANIMAL PORN
John Stewart faces three allegations, with the case calling last week at Ayr Sheriff Court.
The 46-year-old is said to have taken, permitted to be taken, or made indecent photographs or pseudo photos of children at his address in Shilliaw Drive.
He faces a second charge of possessing the same indecent photographs or pseudo photos of children, between February 2021 and December 2023.
Prosecutors further claim that he had possession of extreme pornographic images, which depicted, in an explicit and realistic way, bestiality.
The case was continued without any plea when the hearing called on Monday, October 14.
He is due to face the allegations at a later date.
