April 2021 Tamworth man jailed for 16 years for rape and indecent assaults A 74-year-old from Tamworth has been jailed for 16 years after being found guilty of multiple sex offences. John Rombach, also known as Tony,  was sentenced at Stafford Crown Court today (15 April) after being found guilty on 1 April of 13 counts of non-recent sex offences. Rombach, from Glascote, was found guilty of rape, nine counts of indecent assault, and three further serious sex offences. The court heard the offences took place between the late 1980s and 2014.
