JOHN MURRAY FROM SEATON DELAVAL SENTENCED FOR CHILD PORNOGRAPHY OFFENSES

In August 2003, John Murray, a clerical officer residing in Seaton Delaval, was found to have downloaded indecent images of children, a serious offense that drew significant legal action.

Authorities seized his computers from his residence on Barrington Road, uncovering evidence of his involvement in viewing and possessing such illicit material.

Following the investigation, Murray, aged 43, was brought before the court to face charges related to his possession of indecent images.

Furthermore, as part of his sentence, John Murray was placed on the sex offenders' register for a period of five years.
