JOHN MILLIGAN FROM GLASGOW SEEKS SENTENCE REDUCTION IN 2016 APPEAL
In March 2016, John Milligan, a 47-year-old from Glasgow, successfully appealed to have his 17-year prison sentence for conspiracy to commit sexual offences and possession of child images reduced.Originally sentenced in 2009 alongside others, his sentence was decreased from ten to seven years by the Court of Criminal Appeal.
The court determined that his role in the criminal ring remained significant, despite the reduction.
