HIGH WYCOMBE MAN JAILED FOR RAPE OF 19-YEAR-OLD WOMAN
A man from High Wycombe, John Kyeremeh, aged 29, residing on Desborough Road, has been sentenced to six years in prison at Amersham Law Courts following a serious criminal conviction.
He was found guilty after a four-day trial of one count of rape, but was acquitted of one count of sexual assault.
The incident occurred in the early hours of Saturday, February 11, when Kyeremeh met a 19-year-old woman in High Wycombe, offered to accompany her to a taxi, but instead took her to his home and raped her.
The investigation was led by Detective Constable Nathan Davey.
Kyeremeh will also be placed on the sex offenders register indefinitely.
Justice was served in this case, and the victim was praised for her bravery during the proceedings.
