April 2019 Pervert OAP makes thousands of indecent images of children A pervert pensioner has admitted making nearly 2,000 indecent images of children. John Joseph Kinsella created a total of 1,885 child abuse images over a five-year period, which included over 1,000 moving images. The 66-year-old, of Judd Close, Bedworth, pleaded guilty to three charges of making indecent images of children when he appeared before Coventry Magistrates’ Court. His case was deemed too serious to be dealt with by magistrates and they sent the case to Warwick Crown Court where Kinsella will be sentenced on May 10. His offences, which were committed between March 2013 and June 2018, included making 841 images in category A – the most severe category – which were split between 284 still and 557 moving images. Kinsella also admitted making 441 category B images (136 still and 305 moving images) and 603 category C images (463 still and 140 moving images). Sentencing guidelines show that the punishment Kinsella could receive can range from a community sentence up to a nine year custodial sentence. He was granted bail until his sentencing date.
