JOHN KENDREW FROM GALPHAY FACES SERIOUS CHILD SEX OFFENCE CHARGES IN LINCOLN
A man identified as John Kendrew, hailing from the village of Galphay, has admitted to a series of grave child sex offences during a court hearing in Lincoln. The charges against him encompass possession of indecent images, attempting to persuade a minor to participate in sexual activities, and the distribution of explicit material.According to court records, Kendrew engaged in these illicit activities over a span of two years, from 2012 to 2014. The court was informed that he made efforts to withdraw police statements related to his actions and also sent explicit messages to minors, further demonstrating his inappropriate conduct.
The severity of his offences was acknowledged by the court, which subsequently sentenced him to a prison term of one year. In addition to his incarceration, Kendrew was subjected to a 10-year sexual harm prevention order, restricting his contact with minors and aiming to prevent any future offences.
These proceedings highlight the ongoing efforts of law enforcement and the judicial system to combat child exploitation and protect vulnerable individuals from predatory behaviour.
