The victim, aged 31, was walking along the street, barefoot and holding her shoes, when she was unexpectedly approached by Gray.
According to court reports, Gray made unsolicited comments and physical advances towards her.
He remarked, “It’s a cold night,” and then added, “You look lovely.” The situation escalated as Gray continued to make inappropriate remarks, saying, “You’re beautiful, you’re sexy,” and proceeded to touch her, placing his hand on her shoulder and touching her bare waist.

During police interviews, Gray admitted to being under the influence of alcohol, describing himself as “tipsy.” He claimed his intentions were to make the woman “feel cheery” and insisted he was “being friendly,” despite the clear evidence of his inappropriate behavior.
