October 2014 Londonderry man, 52, pleads guilty to child sex abuse A man accused of sexually abusing a 10-year-old boy over 30 years ago has pleaded guilty at Londonderry Crown Court. John Curry, 52, with an address at Duncans Road, Lisburn, but who is originally from the Newbuildings area of Derry, admitted four charges of indecent assault. The offences took place between January 1979 and December 1982. The court heard that Curry would be placed on the sex offenders register. He was released on bail to be sentenced in December.
